This front yard was in need of some character to complement the architecture of the home. Previously, it was just a straight walk to the door surrounded with lawn. To create a space that is more inviting and useful, it was designed to be a soft layered garden with seating area and water feature focal point.
Now, transformed not only as a destination into the home, but also a leisurely stroll through the gardens. Borrowing from the architecture of the home, flagstone steppers and matching stone columns are repeated into the landscape for continuity. This cohesive garden now feels balanced and welcoming.
