Old Town Outdoor Dining

Originally, the topography of this property made the backyard feel disconnected from the home and did not support the homeowners’ love of cooking and entertaining. The interior kitchen opened to a balcony that overlooked a mismatched flagstone patio, a storage shed, and a sloped lawn with elevation challenges. Our challenge was to create a cohesive outdoor kitchen and dining space that aligned with the home’s architecture while resolving the changes in grade.

We transformed the yard into a fully integrated outdoor kitchen construction project that flows naturally from the interior living space. By repeating architectural materials and introducing thoughtful details in the stairs and kitchen garden planters, we created a sense of continuity and visual interest. The new layout supports cooking, dining, and gathering with ease and results in a backyard kitchen landscape design that feels intentional, welcoming, and built for entertaining.
