Rancho Santa Fe Formal Pool House Garden

It started as a modest project centered around a patio cover and outdoor kitchen, but the homeowners vision for their house expanded as time went on, transforming it into one of the most sophisticated and beautiful projects. Before the pool house was built, the landscape was majority lawn that lacked definition and intimacy. The homeowners wanted a garden that felt refined and architectural while complementing the existing home. Our challenge was to introduce structure, artistry, and multiple usable spaces without disrupting the elegance of the property.

We transformed the site into a series of European inspired outdoor rooms through carefully crafted landscape design. The use of custom and prefabricated artisan fountains create a sense of calmness and serenity while offering visual focal points to the spaces. Wood arbors frame gates and create seating areas out. Stone retaining walls and raised planters define the spaces and give them purpose while introducing layers and depth to the landscape.
