Landscape Care Torrey Pines Landscape Company Wins First Place In The 2023 CLCA Maintenance Award Category!

Award season isn’t quite done yet for Torrey Pines Landscape Company! Recently, we announced that Torrey Pines was awarded the 2023 CLCA Design & Build Outstanding Achievement Award and Presidential Award – but that’s not all.

Torrey Pines was also recognized by the CLCA in an altogether different category: property maintenance! The company’s Crosby and Mt. Soledad projects have won recognition from the CLCA for the team’s continued maintenance to keep them in top condition.

As our first announcement post covered, the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) is a statewide non-profit trade organization comprising state-licensed landscape and landscape-related limited specialty contractors. The organization’s 2,500-strong membership roster also includes suppliers, landscape architects, educators, public officials, and students.

The San Diego chapter of the CLCA’s annual Beautification Awards showcases the impressive work of its members, representing some of the best and brightest landscaping contractors in the world. 18 award categories recognize individual elements of a design-build project, including lighting and water efficiency, and overall recognition of a project’s scope and quality.

The award categories in question—Residential Maintenance B and Residential Maintenance C, both recognize the work put into maintaining a property’s landscape on any single-family residential property, however they differ based on monthly maintenance contract amounts. The Crosby project maintenance program won the category:  Residential Maintenance B award outright, while the Mt. Soledad project won the Outstanding Achievement award in the Residential Maintenance C category.

The Crosby project features a variety of foliage colors and textures. Managing the water and fertilization to all these various plants and keeping the textures organized has kept this landscape looking great. The back patio area is surrounded by well-manicured lawns and planters filled with an intricate assortment of flora and palms.

The Mt. Soledad project features lower water lush tropical plants. Maintaining the espalier fruit trees along the driveway is the best showcase of our meticulous maintenance team’s efforts.

The 2023 award season was a banner year for Torrey Pines Landscape Company, and we’re not quite done yet. The Torrey Pines team remains committed to ensuring that each design is meticulously maintained so that the homeowner can get the most out of their redesigned landscape for years to come!
